Judas must be a saint

Jesus had chosen Judas Iscariot as a disciple along with the other 11 at the beginning of his public life. For years he must have had remained faithful and loyal like the others. As the time of Jesus’ death on the cross was drawing near, he sought means to betray him. The high priests promised him money to betray him.
Judas knew very well that Christ was the Son of God.  Even at the age of 12, Jesus had converted water into wine in a marriage festival. He exorcised evil spirits, cast out demons, cured the blind, the deaf, paraplegics and the epileptics. Judas had watched Christ walking over waters twice. He himself had eaten form the five loaves of bread and two fishes which Jesus, distributed among the 50000.  Judas was aware of the fatal consequences of betraying Jesus too: he would be roasted in eternal fire for all times. Jesus was God himself, it does not then stand to reason he would dare to betray him. Judas would have never preferred thirty pieces of gold to eternal hell where there is ‘howling and gnashing of teeth’ all the time.
God moved Judas to betray Him; he was destined to betray Jesus. There is nothing in potency in God. Jesus Christ was destined from all eternity to die on the cross for the remission of the sin of Adam and Judas was destined to betray him. Jesus himself declares that scriptures are to be fulfilled and that certain things have to take place. When the soldiers came armed to arrest him, Peter drew his sword and struck one of the servants of the High priest. Then Jesus declared:  “how are the scriptures to be fulfilled that thus it must take place.” (Matthew 26:54). Mason Bee, Macro, Pollinator, Bug, Insect, Wings
Jesus was conspicuous even in the great temple of Jerusalem and every living person of his times must have heard of him or seen him. Why Judas had to betray him?  The whole story of betrayal seems a bit silly. Why did the Jewish elite need a betrayer to disclose the whereabouts of Jesus Christ? He was not hiding anywhere but was a very popular man and very much among them making an awful lot of noise, cleansing temples and arguing with them. If Jesus was an unknown person requiring to be betrayed, the gospel accounts of miracles, Immaculate Conception and popularity were mere fabrications at the hands of overzealous followers to establish he was not a man but a god.
There is no greater villain than Judas Iscariot in the Christian world. But it is through Jesus’ passion and death that Christ redeemed the whole world. Judas was one who spurred up the whole redemptory process. He paved the way for the great sacrifice on the cross. His so-called abominable act is the starting point in the process of the salvation of man. Why do the Church and Christians as a whole picture him as a symbol of treachery, sin and an incarnation of evil?
In an objective analysis, the act of Judas was one of holiest deed of any Christian ever lived. Judas was the catalyst who activated the whole plan of redemption.

God had selected him for the noble deed from all eternity.  His role was pivotal in the whole redemptory process. As God seems to have spent considerable time and energy to conceive and execute his ‘grand design’ to save man, the role of Judas in it is crucial and exalted. He should be ranked with the holiest of all mortals, perhaps a little above Mary, the mother of Jesus. She had merely obeyed a command of God to conceive and bring up His son. She had nothing else to do with the ‘rescue operation’ of God. But Judas brought about the long awaited sacrifice of propitiation by delivering the victim to the executors. The traitor thus becomes holy and sanctified. The foul heap of abuses rained on him should be replaced with hymns and praises.  He should adorn the altars of the Catholic Church and other denominations who thank God for redeeming mankind. The betrayal is highly positive as it was instrumental in achieving a stupendous feat for the accursed man. And Judas had a proactive role and he a saint par excellence.

Christian-beliefs, Bible-god are all primitive

Only the weak minded and superstitious people will worship a God without understanding it is an ancient and primitive custom. Why should we emulate them in the 21st century? We should live our lives to the full; it is not to be spent studying an old stupid book, praying, listening to sermons and participating in magical rituals. Christianity imposes a large amount of guilt into every man through the teaching of the original sin. The grand design of God to save mankind through the passion and death of His own son is another cardinal point of Christianity. Is it not absurd to believe that a god would send His only son to get scourged, struck, tortured and crucified to redeem man from his sins when He could wash it off with a nod of His head? Religion has drugged people to believe all this shit. IM Free కోసం చిత్ర ఫలితం

Old Testament Bible describes God as wrathful, jealous, scatological, pornographic and atrocious. Did Jesus actually live?  All accounts of him are from hearsay writings. Contemporary historians are almost silent on him. There is no evidence for the life of Christ other than what some ardent second or third generation preachers who wanted to project him as god and an establisher of a new religion have written. Jesus was a Jewish, Torah-abiding teacher-reformer who wanted the Jews to return to the ways of Yahweh. The new sect, Christians established and promoted by the intellectual St. Paul, got an upper hand when the Roman Empire accepted this pernicious sect as its official religion.

It is now known with certainty how this universe came into existence and how life appeared on an earth like planet of a sun-like star placed more or less at the same distance as the earth is form the sun.  Further, a vast amount of available evidence show that man evolved through evolution. God has no place either in the creation of the universe or that of man.

The process is the other way round. Man created gods and made religions of all hues. Stephen Hawking has declared that there is no God and that science can prove god does not exist. Einstein thinks in the same line too.  'There is no aspect of reality beyond the reach of the human mind,' says Hawking.

The Bible God promises eternal life to those that make a contract with Him. Will it be one of happiness? Who knows? You will be tied with nice shackles and you have  to be with God always singing His praises. You will not be free again. Is it not a better option to simply live your life for what it is worth without the contract of a God?  (Einstein believes that soul and afterlife are man’s creations). Our life will be full and wonderful only if we are intellectually and physically free to make it meaningful as we feel fit.  Why do we have to surrender our life and free-mind at the foot of a God/religion that will make us slaves?

God loves beheading kids&is in a continuous spree of killing

Throughout the books of Moses we find that God (Yahweh) is to be feared and to be appeased. In the Exodus we read how He punishes pharaoh to let the Israelites go with Moses. God turned all canals and rivers of Egypt into blood. What did the poor creatures that lived there do to die an ignominious death? He then plagued the whole land with frogs, gnats, swarms of flies and locusts. Horrible boils and blisters destroyed everything. His angels beheaded thousands of innocent children (there is no accurate count). God will kill the Egyptian children to show that he puts "a difference between the Egyptians and Israel." (Exodus 11:7) God wants to be remembered forever for the mass murder of little children. (Exodus 10:2)   Cross, Scene, Religion, Faith, Hope
Pharaoh was afraid and was willing to let the Israelite go with Moses. But in or order to punish him more, God hardened Pharaoh's heart at night. He sent further punishments to the land of Egypt and its poor people. At last God let Pharaoh release the Israelite with Moses. He parted the red-sea waters for his people to pass. Seeing the pursuit of the Egyptian Army just behind, God closed the waters on them drowning all the men and the beasts. (See chapters 7-14 of Exodus) Thus the Lord routed them at sea.
Ethnic Maniac
To settle His people He did the most vicious campaign ever known in history. One by one He annihilated the hostile kingdoms of Israel.  “….. Take all the fighting men to Ai as you did to Jericho … lay an ambush behind the city when you have taken the city…. fire it as the Lord has bidden.” (Joshua 8:1, 2 &8:8) “Israel snorted until there was none. As the Lord had commanded they hanged the king.” (Joshua 8:26)
“When all the kingdoms came to attack Joshua, Lord threw heavy stones from heaven upon them and they all died.” (Joshua 10:11)
“Makeddah, Jericho and Libna were already annihilated. The same was later done to Lachish, Horan, Eglon, Hebron, Debir, Nageb….”(Joshua 10:31-40) “When a host of enemy kings came to confront the divine army, the Lord God said: do not be afraid of them, tomorrow at this time I will slain all of them for Israel.” (Joshus 11:6) The details of such ethnic cleansing are in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Zephaniah, Exodus and Deuteronomy.
“Only in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, you shall not leave alive anything that breathes. But you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite and the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that they may not teach you to do according to all their detestable things which they have done for their gods, so that you would sin against the Lord your God.”(Deuteronomy 20:16–18)
Only an ethnic maniac can think and act like the Bible God. See His command: “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘…go and strike Amalek and utterly destroy all that he has, and do not spare him; but put to death man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.” (I Samuel 15:2-3)
God decided to kill all the Sodomites as He could not even find ten good people among them.  Why did he not save the children, toddlers, infants and the newborns, the crippled and the sick?
God tells Jeremiah not to get married or have children, because he's going to kill everyone (mothers and daughters, fathers and sons). They all "shall die of grievous deaths," and that shall neither "be lamented" nor buried, but "shall be as dung upon the face of the earth." For, he has removed peace, loving kindness and mercy from the people. (Jeremiah 16:1-7)
God will have birds and beasts eat human flesh and drink human blood until they are full and drunken. (Ezekiel 39:4, 17-20, 28)
The story of Job is an evidence for the atrocities of God and His complete disregard for human life. The Bible God and Satan placed a bet on whether Job would stop worshipping Him if things started turning wrong for Job. So God killed Job's children, destroyed his house and took everything away from him. Then when Job did not turn away, He gave him 10 other, more beautiful children. Think of the Loving God killing children and then creating more beautiful kids in a game with Satan! (Read he details of it in the book of Job.)
Human sacrifice was not averse to the Bible God.  God asked Abraham to sacrifice His son for God. Genesis: 22:10  Only before Abrham was bout to slit the throat of Isaac was it averted and a  Only an Evil Being would ask a father to sacrifice his own son for Him.

Why there cannot be a God

There is neither tangible evidence nor logical proof for Gods existence. If there should be a cause for an effect, there should be a cause for God. Otherwise He becomes a causeless effect.

People simply take for granted His existence due to childhood indoctrination or programming from parents. They believe in the god of their parents. One born as a Muslim continues to live as a Muslim, a Christian as a Christian and so on. But the gods of these religions are totally different. Jews believe in Yahweh, Christians believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Islam’s God is Allah. Orthodox Hindus believe everything is the Absolute Brahma and there is no separate god. Ordinary Hindus believe in so many anthropomorphic and nature gods.  Belief of the vast majority is not a proof for the existence of God.   unsplash

Yes, God cannot be proven by scientific reasoning at all. We study and understand our universe or natural world through science only. So far no scientist has put forward a theory of God. Stephen Hawking, made it clear many times that there cannot be a god. The physicist explains that science now offers more convincing explanations for the existence of the universe and life. Even Einstein is against the concept of an afterlife or God or religions. He speaks: "I cannot imagine a god who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation.... Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism." Since the beginnings of recorded history God’s existence has been continuously questioned and debated.

Forget about proof; is there a comprehensive definition of God?  There are many definitions for the same God as there are many gods.

God is considered Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. I have read about some of the paradoxes of being omnipotent. It is self-refuting and contradictory. Almighty should be able to do everything and he must have every capability. Some abilities negate each other. For instance one cannot be walking and standing or sleeping and keeping awake at the same time. If there is anything beyond his realm of capability He is no more omnipotent.

The Christian God is not able to save people from the eternal hell. The Church says He has given free will to man and His reward or punishment will be based on his actions using his freewill. But the psychotic, mentally retarded and children cannot exercise their freewill. God knows millions of his favorite creation will be roasted in hell but still He creates them. The Catholic Church proclaims that God loves man more than anything else but He cannot save them! At least He can desist from creating them. But He keeps creating.  Is he omnipotent in this respect?  He could not even avoid creating Judas, the betrayer. God himself says it would have been better had he not been born.  Judas was chosen by God with a proactive role in the redemptory process and still He Did not save Him!

The Catholic Church also proclaims that children baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit will be admitted into heaven. That is not a reward based on their actions. Hence if God can reward children without any merit on their part, why does He not save all people by directing their will in an efficacious way so that they do well and reach heaven? After all He loves them so much!

If the souls of the children, who die unbaptized, are punished into hell, we cannot conceive of a God who is more fiendish than the Christian One. They did not ask God to crate them. They died as per God’s Will and if they get roasted in the raging fire for all times, it is more horrendous than my words can say. If they are saved because of His love for creations, then He can save anyone. The whole redemption-passion and death of His son, Jesus- becomes redundant and unnecessary. If there is no redemption, there is no need for the Bible, Church, Popes, bishops and the priests.

Why doesn’t the Almighty stop natural calamities like earth-quakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, floods, plagues and famines that have wreaked havoc with man? We are told He loves man, His special creation, more than anything else. And in one plague He destroys the dreams of millions and millions and obliterates everything they have built up so laboriously. Is He a loving omnipotent? It does not stand to reason. Ever since man’s appearance here the only reality has been pain. Earlier there was inadequate food: there were wild beasts roaming about everywhere and man’s life was under constant threat. Why does God allow terrible things to happen to His favorite creation? Why has He to kill millions in pestilences and natural-calamities? Why is He allowing innocent children to die of starvation in India, in Bangladesh, in Africa and elsewhere?

Either God is not able or He is unwilling to prevent pain and suffering to his favorite creation. If he is willing and is not able then He is no more God. We have to deny His existence. If He is not willing, then He is a monster.  If he is neither able nor willing then, as Epicurus asks, why call him God?

As we write these lines,  there are millions of people in hospitals around the world now who are suffering from cancer, AIDS, heart attacks and innumerable other deadly diseases. There are children and grownups dying without food or water. Why is the Almighty not bothered? He is not there; people created Him.

Is Jesus Simply a Myth?

The gospels, written in Greek-to propagate a religion-are the only source for the life and ministry of Jesus. Christ and his Jewish fishermen followers spoke Aramaic. There is no trustworthy evidence to show that any of these books were in existence before 100 years after the death of Christ. Even Christian scholars, admit that Mark was written sometime around 70 AD, Luke by about 110AD, Matthew by about 130AD, and John by around 140 AD. Hence they could not have been written by Christ’s disciples. As layers and layers were added to the oral stories with elaborations, distortions, additions, interpretations borrowing from here and there we cannot get the faintest outline of who Christ was and what he did or said.
How can something written more than a century after the person they describe lived and died, without any historical document to base what is written, become true? The original gospels no longer exist; they have been lost or destroyed. The oldest existing manuscripts belong to the 6th century which are copies of copies of copies. We do not know who, when and how they were copied.
There were many Gospels in circulation in the early centuries: the "Gospel of Paul," the Gospel of Bartholomew," the "Gospel of Judas Iscariot," the "Gospel of the Egyptians," the "Gospel or Recollections of Peter," the "Oracles or Sayings of Christ," and many others. It is even argued that works were forged in the names of the apostles, and even in the name of Christ. They had many contradictory stories and they were all burnt after the Synod of Trent that accepted the four as canonical. There is absolutely no certainty or reliability about anything found in the Gospels.

There lived many men who bore the name, "Jesus" and many political leaders who had the title "Christ." All the materials necessary for the manufacture of the story of Christ existed too.  In all the pagan cultures there were gods born of virgins who performed miracles, gave new teachings, got killed or crucified and who ascended into heaven after resurrection. One could easily fabricate a story like Jesus’ from the literature of the time.  The story of Christ was not a new idea.
First or second century historians have not written about Jesus. There are some vague references here and there. Philo who elaborate on even little-known Jewish people do not mention Jesus. Flavius Josephus' writings document John the Baptist, James the Just, and mentions Christ. The Roman historian and senator Tacitus seems to have referred to his execution and the early Christians in Rome in his final work, Annals (written AD 116). Suetonius says there occurred in Rome, during the reign of Emperor Claudius, "persistent disturbances ... at the instigation of ‘Chrestus.’
Matthew says Jesus was born when Herod was the King of Judea. Luke says he was born when Cyrenius was Governor of Syria. Herod died in the year 4 B.C. and Cyrenius,(Quirinius)did not become Governor until ten years later. Herod and Quirinius are separated by the reign of Archelaus, Herod's son. Between Matthew and Luke, there is, thus a gap of ten years, as to the time of Christ's birth. No early Christian knew when Christ was born. X’mas (Dec.25th) was a pagan festival adopted as such.  Christians have contrary opinions concerning the year the Messiah appeared on earth. Nobody knew when the Almighty god was born! Was he born at all?
The story of the Immaculate Conception was invented to picture Jesus as a god like Mithras, Attis, Osiris, Horus, Apollonius Dionysus and others. Matthew and Luke give a genealogy of Jesus, the names, and even the number of generations differs between the two-obviously added to show that Jesus is the heir of the promise made to Abraham. But if he was born of a virgin what is the use of giving the genealogy extending to Joseph? What purpose a maternal genealogy would serve in a Jewish (patriarchal) setting? Imaginary works won’t reflect the truth.
Matthew and Luke say Jesus was born in Bethlehem-the city of David- by making Joseph and Mary travel from Nazareth to it, two provinces away for registering in a Roman census.(there is no historical evidence) Even if there was one, only the head of the family had to go and not his fully pregnant wife. His birth is made to happen here to fulfill a prophesy of Micah. The stories of the shepherds and wise men who recognized the child as the son of god are preserved in Mathew and Luke. Remember David himself was a shepherd in the fields of Bethlehem. The narration could have been inserted to show the coming of the Messianic Shepherd from David’s line.
Mathew describes the attempt of Herod to destroy the child and hence Joseph and Mary took flight to Egypt and returned back to Nazareth where they then settled down. If Jesus was recognized as the promised King by the shepherds and Herod, why did he emerge a stranger from Nazareth to begin his ministry? Why didn’t any one recognize him during his public life?  Why are the four gospels silent on the thirty years of the life of Jesus? Gospels speak only about his ministry which lasted just one year according to the synoptic gospels and more than two according to John.
John says Jesus was very much in Judea and went to the Temple of Jerusalem often. But other gospels say his ministry was in Galilee and he went to Jerusalem towards the end. Why should one betray Jesus who appeared daily in the streets and preached often in the Temple?  The priests would not have bribed a man to betray a teacher whom everybody knew. If the accounts of Christ's betrayal are true, what John writes about his public appearances in Jerusalem must be false.
There are many scholars who doubt the story of Christ's crucifixion. Roman civilization was one of the highest orders in the world. Their courts were models of order and fairness. None was condemned without a trial nor handed to the executioner before being found guilty. The judge Pontius Pilate found him innocent and no charge of wrong doing was brought before him. It looks improbable that a man found innocent could be punished, tortured and crucified. Why did Jews a civilized people of the time want to crucify a man who were working so many miracles and doing only good?    Websites giving free photos కోసం చిత్ర ఫలితం

Is it not strange that during the first eight centuries of Christianity and its arts a lamb was represented as suffering on the cross for the salvation of the world?  A lamb carried a cross and a lamb was on a cross. Pope Hadrian I, confirming the decree of the sixth Synod of Constantinople, commanded that thereafter the figure of a man should take the place of a lamb on the cross at the close of the 9th century. Till then the Christ on the cross was a lamb. Did Jesus die on the cross at all? Remember, there is an amulet depicting the god Dionysus on a cross, very similar to the way we see crucified Christ’s picture. May be, Christ was not crucified after all. Was the whole story of Christ fabricated from the mythical gods and the Church with its political and spiritual power made people believe it?

Why the Bible is not worth a dime?

The Bible consists of 66 books, chaotically cobbled together by 40 or more different, unknown and unconnected men over a period of 2,000 years. The book begins with a creation fable and deluge and ends with four accounts of Jesus that has ample conflicts with each other. Obscene stories, cruel and tortuous massacres, details of animal sacrifices for God, sex, unrelenting vindictiveness fill more than half of the Old Testament.
Thomas Paine in his book, “The Age of Reason” has amply shown that most of what is in the Old Testament has been stolen from pagan sources. The story of Adam and Eve comes from Babylonia, its flood, deluge, Arc come from deluge myths and even the names of Noah and sons are copies. Moses is fashioned after the Syrian Mises. Commandments are from Hammurabi’s code. Its Messiah is derived from the Egyptian Mahdi (savior).
Why did God stake the entire future of mankind on the test to the first parents alone?  Even if they disobeyed Him why should the entire people who came after them suffer for their simple disobedience? The moment they ate that fruit, wheels were set in motion to destroy man forever. God drove them away from the paradise and the souls of the dead were hurled into the fire of hell! Misery, suffering diseases, plagues and pain started to pound man.

The Bible is being forced upon people as Holy and beautiful although there is hardly anything holy or nice in the whole thing except some psalms and songs of Solomon. We should not be teaching it to our children or anyone for that matter. It is dominated by a fiendish and angry God who destroys the entire kingdoms of Canaan area to settle his chosen tribe Israel.  God was so happy killing all including infants and toddlers in the deluge in Noah’s time and in Sodom and Gomorrah. He sent his angels to behead all the firstborn in His monstrous campaigns against the Egyptians (read Exodus). His passion to kill the first born remained alive for long. The Israelites celebrated the Passover and sprinkled blood on their doorposts so that God wouldn't kill their firstborn children (Hebrews 11:28).
God’s particular love for Israel to the exclusion of all the others is a proof that the Bible God is a fictitious character. As Christopher Hitchens ask, ‘what kind of designer or creator chooses to reveal Himself to semi-stupefied peasants in the desert regions?’

God sees women as accursed and treats them as sex objects of men and oppresses them. Daughters could be solved as slaves by their fathers.(Exodus 21:7-8) A man could rape and marry the lady after paying a few shekels to her father! (Deuteronomy 22: 28-30). Woman was a commodity that could be sold or bought.
How can this thing be the best or bestselling Book? May be it is forced upon people as they force children to accept Christianity without any consent from them. Modern day terrorists and serial killers must have leant a lesson or two from the Old Testament practices like stoning adulterous women, raping, and beheading firstborns, massacring people and animals and annihilating opposition armies even by throwing heavy stones from heaven. This book needs to be banned if it leads people to violence, deceit, falsehood and treachery.

There are parallels between Jesus and the pagan gods (like Osiris, Dionysus, Horus, Mithras, Apollonius) who were born of virgins, did miracles, died and resurrected. There is an amulet depicting the god Dionysus on a cross, very similar to the way we see crucified Christ’s picture. Mithras carried a lamb, had 12 disciples, and had a final meal before dying. On the final day he will return to pass judgment on the living and the dead. His followers had baptism and a meal ritual where symbolic flesh and blood were eaten! Greek God, Apollonius of Tyana also healed the sick and the crippled, restored sight to the blind, casted out demons and so on. His birth was of a virgin, foretold by an angel. He knew scripture really well as a child. He was crucified by the Romans, rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples to prove his power before going to heaven to sit at the right hand of the father. He was known as, “The Son of God”. There are many resemblances between Christ’s story and that of Krishna and Buddha too.

The Holy Bible is getting a Twitter makeover.

Gospels, for obvious reasons, introduced a number of miracles into the life of Christ; as many of the young gods of the pagan cults walked over water, cured the crippled, gave sight to the blind, made water into wine and rose up the dead. The story of the God-man was probably fabricated on some Torah-abiding preacher-healer. His story is an obvious a rehashing of the numerous Pagan gods. Little can be known about Jesus (what he did or said) from the Gospels. There are scholars who doubt whether he lived at all. The great historians of the period like Philo, Flavius Joseph, Cornelius Tacitus and Tranquilus Suetonius are almost silent on him. There is a strong evidence-based thinking that there was no city called Nazareth in the 1st century. Nazarene becomes a mere fabrication.

There are many contradictions (starting from the genealogy, birth story, childhood, public ministry)even in the 4 gospels, selected and canonized by the Synod of Trend from a number of gospels that existed with different stories. They were written between 70-140AD in Greek by unknown authors based on stories and pagan gods’ lives. It was St. Paul who gave a meaning to Jesus’ passion and death and he originated God’s grandiose plan to save man (there is no mention of it at all in the Old Testament-the Jews were expecting a mighty king to deliver them from slavery). St Paul adopted the pagan rituals, (which became the holy sacraments later) Easter, Christmas and the Mithraic Sunday.

This book has been copied, revised, distorted, compiled and changed by numerous hands over a long period with no central theme. It is utterly inconsistent and nonsensical in innumerable places. Most of us believe Bible is the word of God because we have been brainwashed into believing so. At the hands of St Paul and others an angry unjust, unforgiving, vindictive, blood thirsty, infanticidal, genocidal tribal God Yahweh became a loving Almighty God and a Torah-abiding firebrand preacher a son of god- through this Bible.

Why I do not believe in the Christian God

The Christian God created our first parents out of His love. But immediately afterwards He puts them to a test and they fail. God opens the gates of hell for them and lets all sorts of pain and suffering to befall man. Natural calamities begin to wreak havoc with His creations and billions perish in them with all their dreams.  A majority of the children have died before reaching the age of ten! Why does God create them at all?  Why did He send the test knowing fully well that they would fail? He had an earlier experience with the angels and He never seems to learn.
A loving God would never wipe out humanity as Yahweh did during Noah's time, nor would He destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for their immoral behavior. He would not be like an ethnic maniac wiping out entire Canaanite armies, men, women and children simply to settle His tribe, Israel. He would not be happy beheading the firstborn of Egyptians. Nor would He demand animal and human sacrifices as we read in the Bible.
Why did the Almighty choose to reveal Himself only to a small tribe of semi-stupefied peasants in the desert regions? Is He not concerned about all the others?
God’s redemptory plan looks silly and absurd. Why should the descendants of Adam and Eve  be born in ‘Original Sin’ for no fault of theirs? His plan to send His only begotten and beloved Son is known to us only after St. Paul enunciated his doctrine of redemption. There is no mention of it anywhere in the Old Testament which spoke of the coming of a mighty king in the line of David to redeem the Jews from their slavery.
The gospel story of Jesus was fashioned after the mythical gods like Osiris, Dionysus, Attis, Mithras, Aesculapius, Apollonius and others. We find virgin birth, shepherds, wise men, miracles, 12 disciples, last supper, raising the dead, getting crucified and resurrecting. Jesus lived and died a Torah-abiding Jew who rebuked Jews for their hypocrisy and non-observance of the their laws. He was scourged, persecuted, made to carry a cross and killed.

What kind of Almighty can this be?  A nod of His head was enough to wash away the simple disobedience of the first parents whom he had tricked into failing by sending a serpent to tempt the woman. God created poor humans without any request from their part and makes them suffer. How can God give eternal punishment for a temporal sin?  Where is the element of love in this? The whole story sounds diabolic and cruel.
Did the Almighty God walk along the rugged paths of Galilee? What did this God do for 30 years before He started His ministry? The gospels written many decades after Christ’s death in Greek (Christ and his Jewish fishermen-disciples spoke Aramaic) contradict each other and we do not know a single word he said or a single deed he did.
The Jewish God, Yahweh became the Christian Almighty God after Jesus' death and the same God inspired Christians to persecute and Haunt down Jews for 2000 years! Millions of Jews were killed. Thus Yahweh-the common God-who chose the Israelite tribe as His own and who traveled with them in an arc in the desert and protected them from enemies killed them later! Nonsense.
Parents and society program our brains to believe their religion without questioning. Christians believe in Christianity, Muslim believes in Islam and Buddhists in Buddhism. Communists are programmed to believe in atheism. Religions, although they have contradictory and opposing beliefs, make people their slaves. They have caused thousands of wars and they still make people do evil to their neighbors. It’s high time to break the chains that bind us and become free. Many of the advanced people think that religion causes more harm than good and the least religious societies tend to be more peaceful, prosperous with less crime rate. Why do we have to be religious wasting our resource and time?
Early man created gods as he did not understand nature phenomena (which he deified) and his own body and brain. He wanted to find a reason for the suffering and pain and the founders of religions like Christianity thought of the first parents and the Original Sin and the subsequent cursing of God.History is littered with dead gods. The Greek and Roman gods and thousands of others have perished. Yet a few more survive and belief in them should be scrapped as they are nonsense.
